Merry Christmas everyone! I hope everyone has a great holiday season. Here's a little something I made this year. As a 2D artist this was definitely out of my comfort zone, which was great. I wanted to push what I could do with 2.5D (2D art in 3D space). Illustrated in Affinity Designer, animated in After Effects.

Trooper - It's outer space, many years in the future, and the deep space exploration vessel Blueshift has fallen under attack from marauding space pirates! It's panic for everybody aboard the ship everybody except for 8-year-old Trooper that is, who's playing in her room, totally oblivious to the conflict outside. My degree film from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design.

A video for Thom Yorke's "The Clock" for a motion graphics college project back in Spring 2007. The video is incomplete; it's really a two-minute sample of what could be done for the whole song. The project was part of a D&AD competition, who provided the song to be used. Glasgow Metropolitan College.

is this possible to do by using limited support such as only phone and suitable apps? what apps will it be? I didn't find any good ones
Not that I know of. I know there are some AR apps that let you put pre-set 3D objects into a scene but that's about it. There is a lot more to a project like this that you really need a proper computer for.
